Shelter Tent Value Packs
Whether you’re a camping enthusiast looking to go off the grid or a glamping fanatic, tents and shelters are the perfect way to connect with nature and get away from it all. Unlike permanent structures, tents are lightweight and easy to set up on any surface. They also allow you to build and take down your shelter with minimal equipment, so you can spend more time exploring.
Developed by Quartermasters in late 1861, the shelter tent half was intended to be more portable than previous types of camp accouterments such as bell, wall, and wedge tents which demanded vehicular carriage. Styled after the French tente d’abri, the shelter tent half was a compact, yet roomy tent that allowed soldiers to be out on campaign in comfort for extended periods.
